We believe the unwanted fruit that would end up on the ground or in the trash should go to those who can use it but don’t have the means to collect or buy it.
The fruit that we
harvest is distributed to Hale Mahaolu Elua and Hale Makua for senior citizens and to the Maui Food Bank where schools and low-income communities can obtain the fruit for free. Only a small number of the seventy-five Maui Food Bank organizations are serviced by the fruit we now harvest . As our ability to harvest more fruit grows we will be able to help the growing number of people in need here on our island. The following is a list of the organizations that are eligable to receive our harvest.
